Well, I'm giving up on this thing I had with this one guy named Jonathan. It's not at all his fault or choice, it's mine. He lives like an hour away and that seems to be the big problem. So I just thought, what's the point in this--really? He's the only one of us who drives and so he would always have to some down here to visit and hang out. Plus he doesn't want to start a relationship until he's finished with school, which is totally understandable. What I need is someone like Jonathan, but closer to home. Jonathan really is the type of person I've been looking for, but I need to start thinking about things from his point of view. I must also remind myself that stars don't shine in singular places... meaning that I'm young and shouldn't devote myself to a boy so fast and easily.
